OASH

High in the unforgiving peaks of the Grange Mountains lives an elusive warrior known as Oash. A lone fighter hardened by years of survival, there is no one alive that knows the terrain better, and none other that possesses the skills to endure the grueling sub-freezing temperatures and cyclone winds.

Oash travels light, carrying little more than his trusty pick axe, which serves as both an essential tool to traverse the icy mountain terrain and a more-than-effective means of self defense. Every night he sharpens it to a fine razor's edge in preparation for whatever may come in the day that follows. In early mornings, Oash forages for flint stone, which he carefully shapes into small explosive cubes to hurl at opponents that are out of the range of his axe.

Seven years ago, while ascending the southern cliffs of Mount Quill, he stumbled upon an injured Ermine, its thin body battered by the claws of a Snow Zelche. He nursed the creature back to health, and from that day forward the sharp-toothed Ermine has never left his side.

The furred nocturnal creature remains vigilant through the night and warns Oash at the slightest sign of potential danger. He is extremely agile and eagerly accompanies his partner in battle, thwarting enemies with abundant speed and tearing into their ankles with his vice-like incisors.

The two move as one through the peaks, generally minding to their own. The occasional misguided challenger is swiftly met by the fury of an axe-wielding warrior and his relentless razor-fanged companion.
