ZORNE
Legends say Zorne was once a man, a sorcerer who sought dominion over winter itself, obsessed with bending nature’s cold fury to his will. But in his arrogance, he struck a forbidden pact with an ancient frost-spirit, hoping to gain immortality. The spirit granted his wish, but at a terrible cost. His flesh turned to frozen crystal, his heart to a shard of black ice, and his soul was swallowed by the storm. No longer human, the sorcerer was transformed into a colossal, jagged and translucent monstrous being, cursed to wander the tundra for eternity, his mind twisted by the endless howling wind.
Zorne feels neither fear nor pain and is unhindered by anything resembling self-control. With no need to eat or sleep, he spends his days and nights pacing the mountainside, searching for an altercation.
Upon spotting his next victim, Zorme spits thousands of tiny ice needles from his mouth, controlling their trajectory by freezing and thawing the very air that they travel through, leaving nowhere for his opponents to hide.
Zorne's eyes burn like dying embers trapped beneath layers of frost, and his voice is a chilling whisper that rides the wind, luring lost travelers into the depths of the blizzard. With a mere touch, he can freeze flesh to the bone. Those unfortunate enough to fall within his grasp are left as lifeless ice sculptures, forever preserved in agonizing stillness.
